Italy’s Ministry of Environment, G7, Paris EUROPLACE with its initiative Finance for Tomorrow and UN Environment are delighted to invite you to a high-level event setting out the role of the world’s leading financial centres in mobilizing capital to accelerate climate action.
The event will take place the day after the President Macron’s “One Planet Summit” which will celebrate the second anniversary of the Paris Agreement and will profile the work of the new international network of financial centres for sustainability, which originated under Italy’s 2017 G7 presidency.
The event will feature the launch of the network’s first ‘state of the art’ report prepared by UN Environment and the first report benchmarking financial centres in terms of green finance.
Speakers will include leading representatives from financial centres in Canada, China, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Morocco and UK and will be closed by keynote speeches from Ministers from Italy and France.
